PLAY THERAPY WEEK is a worldwide insitution, created by the Association for Play Therapy (APT), which is organized annually from Play Therapists around the globe. What's the goal? The opportunity for the world to learn and relate with the essence of "How Play Heals"
What is Play Therapy?
"Play is child's language"; This singular phrase contains the importance and greatness of Play. "Play Therapy" is the most common and important form of Therapy for Children (along with the many significant impacts on teenagers and adults).
Nowadays, Play Therapy, and most importantly Child-Centred Play Therapy (CCPT) is the main professional way of relating with children. By being established in a worldwide scale, it becomes more and more the most topical form of Therapy for children (and more) than any other.
*One of the main goals of Association for the Development of Person-Centred Approach & Child-Centred Play Therapy of Sout-Eastern Europe (also know as "Becoming A Person"), is the active participation in the Developoment of Child-Centred Play Therapy, not only in Greece (where the Association is based), but in Europe and the rest of the world in general.
